On Monday President-elect, Barak Obama, announced his final decision for cabinet members Defense Secretary Robert Gates in his current post, Marine Gen. Jim Jones as his national security adviser, Eric Holder as attorney general, Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano as homeland security secretary and Susan Rice as ambassador to the United Nations. And of course the highly anticipated selection of Sen. Hillary Clinton as his pick for secretary of state, Clinton said leaving the Senate would be difficult for her, but said she believes that the best way for her to continue to serve the country is by joining Obama’s administration. Former President, Bill Clinton, thinks his wife is right for the job, and like she has always done in the past will proudly and enthusiastically fill her roll in Obama’s presidency. Governor of New York State seems to be upset at the idea of losing one of his strongest senators, but has no doubt that she will put herself to good use in focusing her talents on American citizens as a whole, rather than just New Yorkers.

Obama said that he is a strong believer in “strong personalities and strong opinions.” And it seems that is exactly the criteria he was while recruiting his team for the next four years. All strong minded and strong willed people that the American civilians can only hope will put their stronger personalities to good use. It has seemed for the last 8 years that all we have heard was one man’s voice telling us what we were going to do no matter how much we didn’t like it. And along with this promise of change from Obama, we can all only hope that he was sincere in bringing that aspect towards all facets of his government.
