Governor Sarah Palin joined the campaign for Senator Saxby Chambliss in Georgia for a Republican seat in the Senate. She decided to help the Republican vote by endorsing a Republican Senator to help him into a seat. However, Palin’s endorsement was also met with Palin supporters with merchandise advertising a possible run at the presidential office in 2012. Obama, on the other hand, was unable to make it to Georgia, but many supporters still showed up.

Sarah Palin showed much of her support, which in a way was a good thing, considering the condition of the Republicans in the Senate. This appeared to be an act of desperation on the Republican’s part. Obama on the other hand, appears to be busy with other matters and does not concern as much with Georgia’s campaign. Although there are have been efforts to use his name for endorsement, the entire campaign seems to be more focused on the supporters rather than Obama.
